Waterproofing

The L.C. Whitford Co., Inc. continues to strive for new innovations and products to add value to our projects and fulfill our customer’s needs. In 2012, LCW became certified by VersaFlex and Bridge Preservation to install their high-performance coatings and prefabricated membrane/liner systems. These systems use a two-part, 100% Solids, zero VOC elastomeric polyurea that can be used in direct spray or prefab panel applications for containment or waterproofing.

Protecting your new investment or repairing an existing investment is imperative to seamless operations with reduced maintenance costs. Our direct spray polyurea can be used for pipe and tank coatings and can easily seal liner pipe protrusions. Direct spray also has numerous other uses such as waterproofing on bridges and foundations, sealing of many metal structures, roofing, lining on potable water tanks, sealing of sanitary structures, and just about any application you can imagine.

These materials can be applied at a temperature range of -40 to 225°F and from 10 to 200mils thickness per application. The life expectancy of the prefab panels and direct spray is in the 75 years plus range; with the direct spray waterproofing to bridges being said to extend the structure’s normal life span by at least 25 years.

Utilizing either our direct spray application or our prefabricated liner systems, The L.C. Whitford Co., Inc. can custom fit any primary or secondary containment application you need. The L.C. Whitford Co., Inc. also provides prefabricated portable containment units. These durable containment systems come in standard sizes of 5’x5’x8′, 6’x6’x8′, or 8’x15’x8′. We can also provide any custom dimensioned portable containment to fit your needs. The extremely durable RoboCon™ portable containment is relatively lightweight and can come with grommets for anchoring. Drive on / drive off design makes these units the quickest way to get your company up and running with ease and reassurance you comply.
