L.C. Whitford Materials Co., Inc.
With a proven track record dating back to the 1980’s, the L.C. Whitford Materials Co. Inc. manufactures a wide range prestress and precast concrete products for DOT and commercial projects in New York and Pennsylvania.
The interactions between the various LCW companies enable the group as a whole to provide a high level of service and reliability. LCW provides the same high levels of quality assurance for all the products made in their precast/prestressed operation. LCW is a PCI Certified plant and PCI certified Erector. PCI Certification assures the Owner will receive the highest quality products.
LCW has produced pre-stressed concrete beams over 130 feet long and up to 75 tons in weight. Our group of dedicated professionals work together to deliver products to you on time and within budget. LCW understands construction schedules and the importance of timely deliveries.

Our Milestones
- LCW has supplied quality precast and prestressed concrete products since the 1980’s.
- LCW was the first company in New York to provide NYSDOT beams manufactured from 10,000 psi, High Performance Concrete in 2001.
- LCW’s first parking garage was supplied and erected in 2005.
- LCW started providing box beams and bulb-tee girders for PennDOT in 2006.
- LCW began manufacturing NEXT beams in 2013.
